Chains of flesh, I feel them tighten,

Walls of bone, the dark’s ignited.

Heartbeat pounding, a drum of rage,

Trapped inside this body cage.

Eyes can see but can’t break free,

Fingers claw, but I’m still weak.

A prison of blood, a mind enslaved,

Screaming out from a hollow grave.

In the body cage, I’m bound by fate,

Fighting shadows I can’t escape.

Soul’s on fire, but the bars remain,

A war within, driving me insane.

Flesh is fragile, a fragile lie,

Bound to break before I die.

Veins like rivers, carrying despair,

Shackled to a mask I wear.

No salvation, no release,

Every breath steals my peace.

The reaper waits, a key in hand,

Yet I resist; I’ll make my stand.

In the body cage, I’m bound by fate,

Fighting shadows I can’t escape.

Soul’s on fire, but the bars remain,

A war within, driving me insane.

Tear the skin, reveal the steel,

The soul inside can finally heal.

I won’t be bound by mortal chains,

I’ll rise above this flesh domain.

In the body cage, I’ve fought my fight,

Cracked the bars, reached the light.

The war is won, my soul released,

In the ashes now, I find my peace.
